Most user’s don’t bother, other’s don’t even know it’s happening but non Apple user’s find it a bit annoying.
The default email signature on iOS devices is ‘Sent from my iPhone‘, ‘Sent from my iPad‘ or ‘Sent from my iPod‘ depending which device you have.
To change it or disable altogether do the following:
1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Signature
2. To disable, simply hit the Clear button
3. To change it, type your preferred signature. It will be appended to all of your outgoing mail from now on for all accounts.
It would be on my wish list for iOS 5 to have this message customizable for each mail account you have added. A one for all just isn’t gonna cut it.
