Tap to Focus Pictures and Videos on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad 2

If you’ve just got a new iPad 2 your may be new to taking pictures with iOS or maybe you’re an old hand on iPhone but never realized the potential when taking videos.
The Camera App in iOS was enhanced since iOS 4 to include tap to focus in still and video images and it works pretty well under good conditions.
This applies to all iOS devices with a camera and the Camera app running iOS 4 or greater.
For video, launch your Camera App, toggle video on and then tap the area of the screen that you want to remain focused and exposed correctly.
For photos, launch your Camera App, toggle photo on and then tap the area of the screen you want to focus for the photo.
