Turn Off Clicking Keyboard Sound on iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

Annoying Click Click Click When You Tap Tap Tap on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch?

I agree – it’s beyond me how Apple, a company who prides itself on sleek design, quality build and beautiful aesthetics, can let some of their top selling products out of the design house with that awful clicking keyboard sound.
It reminds me of the same awful clicking sound that Ericsson phone used to ship with back when they were just Ericsson.
Anyway, enough ranting, here’s how to disable it:
Tap Settings > General > Sounds > Keyboard Clicks > OFF
This was tested on iPad 2 running iOS 4.3.2.
On iPhone and iPod Touch it’s slightly different:
Tap Settings > Sounds > Keyboard Clicks > OFF
This was tested on an iPod Touch 2G and iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.0.2 and iOS 4.3.2 respectively.
