Folders In Your Dock on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Folders were introduced as a major feature with iOS 4.
They allow you to group your Apps using either your iOS device or iTunes into convenient folders on your springboard.
I find it really useful to combine the functionality of the dock (which remains visible across all screens) and folders by creating a few folders to hold my favorite apps for quick access.
By then dragging these folders into my dock I’m effectively extending the usefulness and capacity of my dock.
Here’s how to do it on your device:
1.  Make your App icons wobble by tapping and holding any App icon
2.  Create a folder by dragging one of your Apps and dropping it onto another App
3.  Now clear a space in the dock by dragging an App out of it and dropping it on the springboard or into a folder.
4.  Drag your folder and drop it in the space you just created in the dock.
5.  Press the Home button to exit the wobble.
I tried this on an iPhone 3GS and an iPad 2 both running iOS 4.3.2.
