Prevent Your Apps Being Deleted on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Anyone who gets their hands on your iOS device can simply delete Apps at will as a practical joke or maybe by mistake.
If you let you kid use your iOS device as pacifier you’re not only crazy (we like our devices dry and scratch free here) but there’s always a chance they’ll get bored with banging the device off the dogs head and decide to get creative (or destructive) with wobbly iOS App icons and red x’s.
There is an easy way to prevent that happening though.
Since iOS 4.3 on iPhone 3G and higher, iPod Touch 2nd Gen and higher and iPad you can do the following:
1.  Tap Settings > General > Restrictions
2.  Tap Enable Restrictions
3.  Enter and re-enter your chosen Passcode
4.  Scroll to Deleting Apps and toggle to OFF
5.  Tap General to return
Now go back to your springboard and try to delete an App.
You’ll notice a wiggle app but no red x!
