Change Font Size in Calendar, Mail, Contacts on iPhone, iPod and iPad

It’s about as hidden as a gecko in a rain forest.
But if you’re looking for a way to increase the font size in your iOS devices core apps such as Calendar entries, SMS messages, Mail messages and Notes then you have to look in Accessibility options to find it.
And there are limitations too such as the little one that one setting equals all apps. This is accessibility after all.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Tap Settings > General
2. Accessibility > Large Text
3. Select your Font Size
4. Tap Accessibility to return.
A few points -
This will increase the Font Size in:
a) Calendar Entries – not the Calendar itself but the individual entries.
b) SMS Messages (iPhone Only) – the Message list and the individual message will get increased.
c) Notes – List and note content are increased.
d) Mail – Only the mail subject and message body are increased. Mail font can also be adjusted in the Mail, Contacts, Calendar settings screen but having Accessibility enabled will override this.
