PopCap Bringing Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle To Android Marketplace

PopCap announced plans to deliver both Peggle and Plants vs. Zombies to Android users this week.But wait, you say. Plants vs. Zombies is already available on Android.

Well, you're technically correct. Thing is, you can only download it through different locations like Amazon. This marks the first time you'll be able to snag it from the official Android Marketplace.
"Plants vs. Zombies has previously been available to Android consumers via other compatible marketplaces, but this will mark its first appearance in the official Android Market. This is also Peggle's first venture on Android and we're thrilled," said Tony Leamer, Plants vs. Zombies franchise business director at PopCap Games. "With the recent availability of Plants vs. Zombies on Kindle Fire, fans will now have access to the game on multiple devices and from several marketplaces."
Granted, they're old games, but also some of the best we've played. Great news for Android owners.
Look for both games sometime this week.
