Look Ma, No Credit: Mobiroo Gift Cards For Android

Millions of people own and love Android powered smart phones, but not all of them are happy with using a credit card to download video games. It's in stark contrast to Apple, which not only lets iPhone and iPad users pay with credit, but also gift cards.
That may change with the arrival of Mobiroo. The company sells gift cards that let both Android and even Blackberry users buy games like Burn the Rope, Bejeweled 2 and Need For Speed Shift.

All consumers have to do is purchase a $15 or $25 card at participating retailers (Target and Radio Shack in the U.S.), redeem said card on the Mobiroo website after creating an account and download games and apps directly from there.
Not a bad idea, but also an one still in the works. The Android selection is shockingly limited, and some of the hottest games are noticeably absent.
In other words, unless Mobiroo hosts the same exact content as the Android Marketplace, we don't expect it to be around very long.
