No www Or .com Required in Safari on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

That’s the hardest title I think I’ve ever had to write on one of my tips!
When using Safari on your iOS device you can quickly get to your favorite .com ending website by simply typing the middle section of the url, i.e., the word between ‘www.’ and ‘.com’.
So for example, let’s say you want to go to www.imdb.com just type imdb in Safari’s address bar and press Go!
For www.facebook.com just type facebook and press Go and so on and so forth.
In fact, this will work for any web address in .com.
I’ve tested this on Safari on iPad 2, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch running iOS 4.3.3.
