Sometimes your iOS device will get stuck and freeze usually down to a rogue app.
If this happens, perform a hard rest which is like rebooting a PC.
It will flush the memory and free up the device hopefully.
Here’s how:
1. Hold down the Home button (round button on the front of the device) and the Standby/sleep (on top of the device) for ten seconds.
2. When the Apple Logo appears, let go.
3. Wait for the device to fully restart. It could take several minutes.
This works on all iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch models.
