How to Create a Folder in iOS 4 on iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad

The ability to create folders on the home screen (springboard) was introduced in iOS 4 for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 1, iPad 2 and iPod Touch 2nd Generation and higher.
It’s not immediately obvious how this is done and so definitely merits a tip!
To create a folder do this:
1.  Tap and hold any app icon on your springboard until it starts wobbling.
2.  Now select and drag an icon that you’d like to place in the new folder and drop it on top of another app icon that you’d also like in the new folder.
3.  The two icons will be placed in the new folder and iOS will automatically give the folder a name based on the Apps that you put in there.
4.  Optionally, edit the name of the folder by tapping into the name field.
