Hidden Volume Control on iPhone and iPod Touch running iOS 4

iOS 4 brought us the new multitasking bar which meant that double tapping the Home button no longer revealed the iPod Media controls with volume control.
It’s well documented that the iPod controls are now located to the left side of the multitasking bar accessed by double tapping Home and swiping the multitask bar to the right but where’s the volume control gone?
Quite simply, swipe right once more.
On iPad there’s plenty of space to fit all the media controls in the one screen but on iPhone and iPod Touch Apple had to place the volume on a separate screen.
Now why didn’t they include a brightness control also I wonder?
Here’s the steps:
1.  With the phone unlocked, double tap the Home button
2.  Swipe the multitasking bar to the right to reveal the media control bar.
3.  Swipe the media control bar to the right once more to reveal the volume controls.
This was tested on an iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.3.3.

Did it work for you?
