Suspend advertisements while searching

Are advertisements (specially those animated ones) slowing down your search efforts? Well, you can easily disable automatic loading of images, which is not usually important while searching, to minimize the time that it takes to load pages.
In Netscape you can suspend loading of images by disabling "Options | Auto Load Images." In Explorer 3.x, this is done by disabling "View | Options... | General | Multimedia | Show pictures."
