Do You Open Your Calendar App To View Today’s Date?

There is an easier way – or two actually.
If your phone is unlocked and on the Home screen have a look at the Calendar app’s icon – it changes every day to display today’s date.
This is the only ‘dynamic’ icon on iOS.
If your phone is locked, touch the Home button and the date will be displayed beneath the time without unlocking the phone.
For maximum, visibility I recommend placing the Calendar app in your dock.  That way it will be visible regardless of which home screen you’re viewing.
This tip has been tested on iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.3.2
